MAKING
AN OFFER ON A PROPERTY
If you have seen a property, make an offer to
the Estate Agents. They will then contact the vendor once wehave
qualified your status this offer is accepted and your
offer will be subject to contract.
APPLYING FOR
A MORTGAGE
Whether you have purchased your home through
Bishops or another Estate Agent, we can help to arrange your
mortgage for you. Your mortgage Advisor will then take you
through step by step the application and give you all the
advice you need.
ARRANGING A
VALUATION
Your mortgage valuation will be arranged on
your behalf when you apply for your mortgage. A
valuation/survey on the property you are provisionally
purchasing is required for mortgage purposes.
THE CONVEYANCING
Once you have provisionally purchased your home
you will be a solicitor/conveyancer. They do all the necessary
checks on the property you are purchasing.
THE MORTGAGE
OFFER
Once the valuation/survey has taken place on
the property you are purchasing and all the relevant checks
have been made, you will then receive your mortgage offer.
Your mortgage advisor will be involved in discussing the
mortgage offer with you, and a copy of the mortgage offer will
be sent to your solicitor.
CONTRACTS ARE
EXCHANGED
When all the necessary conveyancing work has
been done you will then sign the contract. Your solicitor will
then ask you to pay your deposit for the home you are
purchasing. Both yourself and the seller then become legally
bound.
COMPLETION AND COLLECTING KEYS FOR YOUR NEW HOME
When the contracts have been exchanged a date
will be set for completion, which will be arranged by both
sides solicitors and agreed upon. When completion takes place
the property then becomes yours. On completion, the balance of
the purchase price of the property is then paid to the sellers
solicitors in return for the title deeds for your new home.
You can then arrange to collect your keys through the sellers
Estate Agents and move into your new home. |
